Dr. Hornaday has grown up his entire life in Indiana. He graduated from Tri-Central High School in 1992 and attended Indiana University in Bloomington, IN where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1995.
In 1999, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Indiana University School of Dentistry. He was accepted to his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency training program at St. Francis Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA and finished his four year surgical residency at the University of Pittsburgh in 2003. While in Pittsburgh he had affiliations with St. Francis Medical Center, Mercy Hospital of Pittsburgh, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Montefiore Hospital, and Shady Side Hospital.
As an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Hornaday operates on and cares for patients who must be attended to in a hospital setting. Since returning to Indiana, he has been on staff at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie.
After his surgical residency, Dr. Hornaday and his wife, Kristine, moved back to Indiana and opened the practice in July of 2003. Both love animals and the outdoors and enjoy spending time with their pets that include dogs, a Kinkajou, and a horse as well as traveling. Dr. Hornaday also enjoys flying as he is currently a student pilot at Muncie Aviation Company.
